Financial Manager Wanted at Walker Die Casting


In this position, you will lead the financial analysis function for the manufacturing plant operations of Walker Die Casting. This position will oversee the reporting and analytics meant to provide management the information needed to make financial business decisions. Job responsibilities: • Analyze material, labor, or other expenses to determine production costs, cost of sales, or other cost-related performance measures. • Analyzes cost variances and presents findings to leadership. • Support the plant’s capital expenditure process for tracking progress and spend on projects. • Prepares and presents recommendations for reducing costs, and provides cost-related data in support of business decisions or for use in financial reporting. • Assists cross-functional units on matters involving product pricing, overhead distribution, inventory rollover, cost determination, and other financial metrics. • Analyzes and interprets financial forecasts, budgets, and profit and loss statements. • Identifies financial trends and reports on the organization's financial position and performance relative to expectation. • Researches broader economic conditions and incorporates findings into financial models. • Identifies relevant datasets and prepares custom or standard reports. Experience and Education: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Accounting or Finance, with 6 or more years of experience. • Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. • Competencies: Leadership skills.
