Position Summary and Responsibilities
Summary: Prepare, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and document training activities in the facility.
This individual will work closely with, and supports the Quality, Manufacturing and Human
Resource departments to identify training needs and develop resources.
Key Functions of Job:
Access training needs for new and existing employees
Facilitate IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 training courses
Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps
Partner with other departments to determine employee training needs
Organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs
Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks
Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools.
Inform employees and management of required training
Provide feedback to program participants and management
Maintain and manage employee training records in the TIPQA system
Manage training budget
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be able to balance multiple priorities at one time
Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills
Must have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Must be able to meet deadlines and manage sudden time-sensitive projects
Must be able to work overtime as needed; this position regularly requires work weeks
in excess of 40 hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or equivalent combination of education and
experience preferred
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Experience with instruction and/or training
Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:
Must be able to obtain a security clearance if necessary
Citizenship Requirements
Due to classified work at the facility and related access restrictions, successful applicants must
maintain U.S. Citizenship to allow the person to hold a U.S. Government security clearance.
