SUMMARY
Work offsite, independent
from main production plant execute daily operations of the Wide Format Digital
(WFD) Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ø Responsible to set up,
operate and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to meet production
deadlines. Examples listed below, but
not limited to the following:
o
Fuji Onset X3 Digital Press
o
Esko Kongsberg CAD table
o
Duralam Wide Format Laminator
o
HP360i Latex Printer
o
Mimaki Plotter Cutter
o
Fork Truck
Ø Stage raw materials and
machine consumables daily based on production needs.
Ø Review and interpret
instructions; verbal and written, complete production records in a timely
manner.
Ø Check and approve all Q.C.
processes as jobs are being processed.
Ø Keep Monarch production
system updated, verifying production times and material usage as they have been
produced.
Ø Communicate with management
and customer service for production concerns.
Ø Adhere and apply to
workflow guidelines to oneself.
Ø Various shipping duties,
carton pack, palletize and prepare shipping documents.
Ø
Comply with all
OSHA safety requirements.
Ø
Follow systems
and procedures outlined in company manuals.
Ø
Participate as
a key team player by supporting operations as needed.
Ø Foster a clean, organized and welcoming environment
for walk-in customers / employees.
COMMUNICATION
Communicate
and consult effectively with offsite supervisor, coworkers and management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to read and
understand written instructions including those dealing with dimensions and
quantity. Ability to apply written
instructions to machine set-up. An
understanding of digital print, structural design and finishing operations is
required. Present oneself reliably and
professionally through attendance, punctuality, attention to detail, urgency,
motivation and a clean and organized appearance and work station. Demonstrate logical
problem solving skills and maintain a positive safety attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school
diploma or equivalent

Good math
skills
Ø
Must pass color
vision test
Ø
Strong
attention to detail, interested in preventing errors and solving problems
Ø
Good sense of design,
read and comprehend measurements on a ruler.

Must be
computer literate and current on new technology
Ø

hardworking, a self-starter and a problem solver

Demonstrated
