Logistics Supervisor

Description


To lead the Logistics’ team(Customer Service and Transportation) in achieving its key objectives of 1) Ensuring proper and timely communication to our customers to address any concerns they may have in addition to maintaining a strong rapport.   2) Supporting and completing critical projects related to logistics savings and ensuring that the data analysis is executed with a primary focus in maximizing operating profit. 

In addition, directs Third party logistics providers and works with Global Business Solutions(GBS) team as well as Business Unit and Corporate teams to develop solutions that promote best practices, optimization opportunities, and evaluates new alternatives to improve business performance and develop system solutions.  This position manages logistics spend and works with regional teams to identify and drive transportation and warehouse optimization and cost reduction opportunities and solutions.

Process Technician


Description

The process technician position is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the operation
of the department's injection molding machines. Responsibilities will include set-up, process
control and trouble shooting of the equipment, etc... Position will be responsible for ensuring
the machines are producing quality parts through gauging and visual inspection.
Tasks/Activities:
1) Work with supervisors and leads on process job assignments based on production needs.
2) Check press and mold conditions as required.
3) Setup and run process according to ETS. (Engineering Technical Standards)
4) Circulate, check and correct injection molding machine issues to ensure quality parts are produced.
5) Monitor scrap and regrind of presses.
6) Responsible for making sure mold PM (preventive maintenance) is met. 
7) Adhere to all shutdown and startup procedures.
8) Respond to additional work assignments when requested, and perform all essential
functions in a timely manner under typical production schedules.
Performing essential functions means - at a minimum - being able to perform the above
tasks as well as the Specific Exertional/Physical Requirements labeled "essential" herein.
It also means being able to meet those requirements called "essential" in the
Environmental Factors section.

Production Technician

Description

    PRIMARY PURPOSE:

    To perform semi-skilled assembly, machine operation, and general production/warehouse activity.

    TYPICAL DUTIES:
    Assembly of components and sub-components, which includes the manual or automated operation of machinery or tools. Work requires extended periods of standing or repetitive motion such as gripping, reaching, bending, pushing, or pulling. Examples: use of air actuated tools, weld guns; placement of parts in fixtures, packing parts in shipping containers, placing parts on belts & conveyors, the retrieval of parts from machines to rack or bin. Moving materials & products to & from the work area which involves lifting up to forty pounds. For example, lifting totes, boxes, or material bins from pallets to the work surface. Ensure the quality of the product. The method of operation also requires periodic cross-training & movement from simple assembly to machine operation. Environmental factors include exposure to welding fumes, chemicals, noise, or vibration. Recordkeeping, manually or by data entry, daily production reports, process checklists, timekeeping, scrap & reject results, or machine time.

Physical requirements as set out above. Basic grammar & math skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work a standard forty-hour week with overtime as required by management.
