The MarCo POLO team welcomed 5 women, mostly Moms, to their Remote Worker Training program on March 4, 2021 at Greater First Baptist Church in Lewisburg, TN.
The program provides an 6-week training curriculum held each Thursday and is taught by MTSU lecturer and local celebrity Kenneth George. The program is provided free of charge to this first class but the goal is to create an ongoing remote worker training program that offers opportunities for high-wage jobs remotely for local residents kept out of the labor market due to issues such as cost & availability of childcare, transportation or commuting costs and more.
The MarCo POLO team is currently seeking employers who need remote workers to interview and hire graduates of our training program. By doing this, the MarCo POLO team hopes to provide new opportunities for employment to the citizens of Marshall County, Tennessee. If you are an employer looking for remote workers or someone looking to explore remote working opportunities, log onto https://arcg.is/1aaTaT or www.lewisburgtn.info
