Matrix Drilling Products is seeking energetic team members to join our fast-paced growing organization as CNC Machinists. The CNC Machinist supports the daily manufacturing work schedule, meeting all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC mills and lathes. 

Responsibilities: 

• Report to work on time and per work schedule. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential job responsibility. 
• Work with team leader and team members to achieve necessary work requirements. 
• Operate complex machining equipment including start-up and shut-down. 
• Produce machined parts per job traveler and prints. 
• Perform product changeovers including CNC program selections, cutting tool selections, and part checking methods and procedures. 
• Perform necessary quality checks of parts including the effective use of calipers, micrometers, and complex functional gauges. 
• Accurately complete all necessary forms and reporting paperwork. 
• Perform operator PM to maintain proper machinery operation. 
• Maintain a clean work area including daily cleaning of floors and machinery within the assigned work area. 

Qualifications: 

• Ability to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions. 
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make process improvement recommendations. 
• Strong math and print interpretation skills. 
• Ability to properly load/unload materials and parts in a safe and efficient manner. 
• Capable of working in a standing job for continuous periods of 8 – 10 hours. 
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift. 

Education/Experience: Operator – 

• High School Diploma/GED 
• One year of machine operating experience or enrolled in Trade School For Machinist I - 
• High School Diploma/GED 
• Trade School Certificate or 2 years of machining experience For Machinist II - 
• High School Diploma/GED 
• Trade School Certificate and 2 years of machining experience or 5 years of machining experience 

For Machinist III - 

• High School Diploma/GED 
• Trade School Certificate and 5 years of machining experience or 10 years of machining experience For Machinist IV - 
• High School Diploma/GED 
• Trade School Certificate/15 years of machining experience or complete all tier requirements through 
Machinist III The time requirement listed under experience for each position is a general rule.

Maintenance Technician I

Matrix Drilling Products is seeking a dependable, honest, and enthusiastic individual to join our growing organization as a Maintenance Technician 1. This position assists the maintenance lead in meeting all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.  This position is for first shift (M-F; 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.).  Salary range ($16.50 - $19.00 per hour) based on experience.  Additionally, Matrix offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Outline

·        Report to work on time and per work schedule.  Punctual and regular attendance is an essential job responsibility.

·        Assist the maintenance lead with the following:

o   Servicing and maintaining production equipment

o   Inspecting and troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns

o   Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks

o   Installing new production equipment

o   Performing general building and grounds maintenance and repairs

o   Communicating with the production team

o   Maintaining a clean work area

Job Requirements

·        High School Graduate or GED; Technical School a plus

·        One or more years of related experience in an industrial setting

  Knowledge Requirements

·        Ability to read and understand technical information along with equipment manual instructions

·        Basic math and counting skills

·        Strong organizational skills

·        Ability to read various measurement tools

·        Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

·        Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment

·        Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information

Other Requirements

·        The selected candidate will be required to pass a Drug, MVR, background, and reference screening
